2. Provision of the website
When you access the website, the hosting provider may process technically necessary connection data. This includes, in particular, the IP address, time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system. Processing serves the secure and reliable provision of the website on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Cookies and audience measurement
We do not load Google advertising measurement without your consent. If you choose “Allow measurement”, Google Ads conversion tracking records clicks on our email and telephone links following an advertising visit. A click does not confirm that a message was sent or a donation received. The receipt-request link in the bank-transfer section is excluded.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. With your consent, cookies may be used to attribute advertising clicks, and technical connection data (including IP address, browser information and page visited), advertising identifiers and click events may be sent to Google. We do not send names, email addresses, bank details or donation amounts as conversion data and do not enable personalised advertising. Google companies outside the EU may process data. This optional measurement is based on your consent. We save your choice on your device for up to six months. You can change or withdraw it using “Privacy settings” at the bottom of the page. If you decline, no Google measurement code is loaded. All donation and contact options remain available. We do not load external fonts or embedded map and video services.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry. Depending on the content, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We delete the data when it is no longer required for handling the enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Donations
When you make a donation, the account-holding bank processes the data required for the transfer. If you request a German donation receipt, we use the contact details you provide to issue and send it and to comply with statutory retention obligations.
6. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
